Origin
The biceps brachii originates in two places on the scapula. The long head originates at the supraglenoid tubercle of the scapula while the short head originates at the coracoid process of the scapula. They are attached to the scapula using proximal biceps tendons.
Insertion
The biceps brachii inserts at the radial tuberosity. It attaches to the radial tuberosity using the distal biceps tendon.
